Refund Policy

Returns or exchanges can be made under certain circumstances if you email or call us within 14 days of receipt of your product. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Returns for a refund with no exchange are limited to faulty products. Exchanged products must be in their original condition with the label intact.

Please note that you are purchasing from a company that produces hand-dyed items that will have inherent color variations. Generally color variations do not indicate a faulty product, as there is no certainty that colors as represented on your screen will exactly match what you see in the actual products.

We typically try to ship orders within one business day when the product is in stock. We plan to inform you promptly by email when that is not possible.

If the product is flawed, or if we accidentally shipped the wrong product, we will do what we can to make it right for you. We do not accept returns just because you may have changed your mind.

If it is in its original condition we will refund you the purchase cost - but not the return postage

What items cannot be returned for a refund without an exchange item:
Any item that you simply want to exchange that doesn't have a flaw
Any Item purchased at a discount or on sale
Any item Purchased in person such as a fiber festival or store
Any Item that you have damaged or altered from its original skeined or hanked condition.
Any item without its original label.
Any Items purchased as custom dye orders.
Ay item purchased before April 2018

Things to consider before requesting a refund:

Occasionally the yarn or fiber will leave a color residue on your hands. This can be due to the dyeing process used and is an excess rather than failure of the dye to adhere to the fiber. It should not affect the finished item. It should not diminish the color of the product. This is not considered a flaw.

Please take care when winding a ball from a skein of yarn. We cannot take responsibility if yarn becomes tangled.

We try to examine our yarn for knots and set aside any skeins with knots as sale items. However, we cannot guarantee that there won’t be an occasional knot in a skein. If you encounter more than one knot in a skein, please let us know.

Please take care when opening our shipments. If you cut through the product, we cannot consider it a flaw.

I do all the dyeing of yarn and fiber myself by hand. No two skeins will be exactly the same, this is the beauty of hand dyed fiber. This is not considered a flaw in the product.

There will sometimes be undyed or white sections within the hand-painted skein or hank of fiber. These are not considered flaws unless they are grossly large. Please let us know you receive a product with a large undyed section.

If we do not receive a returned item for any reason (incorrect address, USPS error, or act of god or goddess, or even of God herself), we cannot refund your money.
